Thurnby And Bushby Society
The society was started in 1968 to support the community environmentally, socially and with planning issues.
There has been many different members and Chair people since then.
During the years we have supported dances, quizzes, skittles nights, talks and many other events. We have also helped to maintain the environment and fought planning applications that were considered inappropriate for the village.
We also produce the TABS Newsletter three times a year which gives information on Parish Council meetings, police alerts and news and events around the village.
We need more committee members and would welcome applications from anyone who lives in the village and can spare some time. We hold four meetings a year and
need support with event organisation, environmental and planning issues.
